North Sea Radio Orchestra return with another selection of their unique brand of folk – setting poetic lyrics, with lush female vocals to a background of a massive range of orchestration – strings, organ, woodwind, synthesiser, vocal harmonies, a wide range of percussion, bass guitar... you name it, it’s here.

The result is something quite magical, and in terms of artistic endeavour, it’s a tour de force in no uncertain terms. Part classical, part folk, part something entirely new, if you fancy dipping your toe in something a bit different, then this is a great rock pool to do it in. And Tim Smith of The Cardiacs is involved, which is a big bonus.
