Steve Mason is best known as the lead singer and one of the founding members of The Beta Band. Mason has recently collaborated with MC Mystro and Dennis Bovell as well as working on TV and film soundtracks including a comedy soundtrack for Marc Wootton’s ‘La La Land’. Steve is working on new material.

"The most important thing is bearing your soul and having no barrier between your heart and the lyrics and the piece of paper, and being fearless in terms of melody and direction. That’s the thing that holds human beings back, in everything, not just in what I’m talking about, everything - fear... of whatever it might be." Steve Mason - on the songwriting process

RAINER is made up of Rebekah Raa and Nic Nell (aka London-based producer Casually Here). The duo formed in 2012 after meeting through mutual friends and shared late nights. Their friendship & musical kinship developed over a love of dark sounds and striking production.

EP Hope/Satin/Glass/Dreams at the end of 2013, garnered an array of attention. In 2014 Rainer participated in ‘Swallow’ A Random Act for Channel 4 directed by Dan Sully. Other usages included Top Shop and work with The London College of Fashion.

Charged with lush production and instrumentation, Rainer’s debut LP ‘Water’ is an album full of incredibly personal sentiment. Rebekah explains: “I write about love mainly, and the bizarre mixture of emotions that inevitably comes with falling in, being in or falling out of love. Writing is like a therapy through which I realise why I feel the way I do. Some of the songs have an uplifting message in them which is usually the point of realisation that I got to through writing.”

‘Water’ was released on 18th May, 2015 via Kissability/Algebra.

Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo have toured extensively over the world and performed alongside Frank Turner at the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony. Working once again with Martin Phipps, Emily composed music for The Keeping Room directed by Daniel Barber.
