Taken from their much acclaimed fourth album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, the single features the Tom Furse (The Horrors) Extrapolation mix, the Todd Terje Extended mix and a cover of the track by Domino Publishing's Frankie & The Heartstrings.
Blood Orange – aka Devonté Hynes – recently scored Gia Coppola’s full-length film Palo Alto(James Franco, Emma Roberts, Jack Kilmer, Nat Wolff, Zoe Levin), and the two have teamed up again in Hynes’ new music video for “You’re Not Good Enough.” The 80s-inspired video features both Coppola and Hynes, who is showcasing some sweet dance moves, as well as an appearance by Samantha Urbani, who contributes vocals to the Cupid Deluxe stand-out track.
The video was co-produced by Urban Outfitters as the 18th installment of their UO Music Video Series.
Washed Out has shared his new video for the single ‘Weightless’ taken from 2013’s acclaimed album Paracosm.
Directed by David Altobelli (M83, Sia, Conor Oberst), the mini film that accompanies the track presents a touching story of unrequited love with dreamlike sequences throughout. Watch using the link supplied above.
Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains will be supporting label-mates Franz Ferdinand at Somerset House in London on July 16th. The show is part of the annual Summer Series at Somerset House and is sandwiched between a wealth of European dates and festival appearances following the release of new album Piano Ombre.
The announcement comes soon after the launch of new single ‘The Way To The Forest’. Released on June 30th, we can now reveal that it will be released as part of a remix bundle including remixes by Petite Noir and Ibibio Sound Machine.

The Bridge is an American drama television series developed by Meredith Stiehm and Elwood Reid, airing on the FX network, and based on the Danish/Swedish series Broen/Bron/The Bridge.
Starring Mexican actor Demián Bichir and German actress Diane Kruger, the series' 13-episode first season debuted on July 10, 2013. On September 24, 2013, FX renewed The Bridge for a 13-episode second season to air in summer 2014.

Anna Calvi has shared a video for ‘Strange Weather’, the lead single taken from her forthcoming EP of the same name, released on 14th July 2014. The accompanying video was filmed in New York by Alan Del Rio Ortiz.

Produced by BlinkInk and directed by Elliot Dear, the creative team behind last year’s heart-warming ‘Bear & The Hare’ John Lewis Christmas advert, Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains take on the role of mischievous, forest-dwelling sprites, protecting their home from the destructive ways of a couple of hapless hunters. Papercuts - San Francisco singer/songwriter/producer Jason Quever, has just announced his fifth album Life Among the Savages. Which is released this week on Memphis Industries. The opening track 'Still Knocking At The Door' can be stremed here.
On Life Among the Savages, is Quever's dreamy mixture of baroque pop, storytelling lyrics, and detailed production work is at its most potent. Having spent nearly two years whittling the record down to the essentials, which makes 'Savages' the most concise and lucid of the five Papercuts releases.

Produced by Thomas Bartlett (The National, Antony and the Johnsons, Sam Amidon) and recorded in New York, the EP features covers of tracks by Suicide, David Bowie, FKA twigs, Connan Mockasin as well as a stunning collaboration with David Byrne on the title track, a cover of Keren Ann’s ‘Strange Weather’.

The cover of Suicide’s 'Ghost Rider' was recorded with drummer Matt Johnson (Jeff Buckley), and Nico Muhly contributes string arrangements to the EP opener, a deconstructed organic reworking of FKA twigs’ ‘Papi Pacify’, which is available to stream below.
Following the release of Wig Out At Jagbags at the beginning of 2014, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks are set to return to the UK in August and will also release ‘Chartjunk’, taken from the acclaimed album.
