BYE BYE LIGHTSPEED CHAMPION
Lightspeed Champion has just announced details of a new EP containing unreleased material. The four track Bye Bye EP will be available from 13th December 2010. Bye Bye opens with a magnificent cover of the Beach Boys’ Til I Die, taken from their 1971 Surf’s Up album, reworked in Dev Hynes’ inimitable style. The three tracks that follow were arranged by legendary composer and producer, Van Dyke Parks (Beach Boys, the Byrds, Joanna Newsom). 'Underwater There Is Nothing' is a version of the similarly titled track from his most recent LP, Life Is Sweet! Nice To Meet You. 'Bye Bye Icarus' and 'The Mess You're In' are previously unheard, opulent tracks, full of strings and lush instrumentation.
Dev Hynes said the following of his experience of working with Van Dyke Parks: ‘It was pretty surreal... he's someone I've listened to for what seems like forever. I found myself listening to the stems and works in progress as a fan of him, then I'd remember that it's something we're working on together... then I'd freak out... Then I'd have a drink and I'd feel fine.’

WATCHING ABOUT GROUP 'ALL IS NOT LOST' FROM THE ALBUM 'BETWEEN THE WALLS' OUT 24TH JUNE 2013
About Group: All Is Not Lost on Nowness.com
Directed by Swedish artist, Henrik Håkansson
Between The Walls captures the sound of a band 'playing' together, in both senses of the word - experimenting and trying things, being playful, as much as being a group performing as a unit together. Between The Walls is the sound of people pushing towards and pulling against one another simultaneously. It is the sound of buzzing amplifiers, sudden musical non-sequiturs, loud blasts of straight synth lines cutting through melody and structure. And it is also the sound of beautiful and odd electronic textures and brilliantly defined and deliberate drums, underpinning fragile but deliberate performances of sad songs and country ballads.
GRANT HART 'THE ARGUMENT' OUT 22ND JULY 2013.
As founder and half of the songwriting engine that drove the mighty Hüsker Dü, to his maverick solo work, Grant Hart has cut a singular path across the last three decades of music. It is with great confidence that we say he has made an album to rival his greatest achievements. A double album based on John Milton's 'Paradise Lost' - to show both the light and the dark of the album in its initial introduction, so we are offering two tracks for preview via Soundcloud: 1)'Is The Sky the Limit?' is a melancholy song of the aftermath of rejection built upon the eerie and lonely sound of Sputnik 1; and 2) 'Letting Me Out' follows in all its propulsive Buddy Holly glory as the Artist formerly known as Lucifer offers up his cunning business proposition to populate the netherworld.
The release will be supported by extensive touring with his band, Grant Hart and The Burn/Burning, with plans for a more conceptual presentation. [PLAY]

Cloud Chamber orchestrates 'found footage' across a variety of media. Players navigate, collaborate and interact in order to access found media (films, diaries, documents, etc) – they are detectives discovering what actually happened. The experience can be described as 'a single site Altered Reality Game'. It is fiction for the Facebook generation - part social network, part filmed mystery and part game.
The tone mixes psychological thriller elements with supernatural horror and real space science to draw players into a dark mystery. As players explore the story, the mysteries of the human psyche and the heartless voids and immensities of outer space become one.
