Recieving radio plays by Annie Mac, Frank Ocean and Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, Superorganism are bringing their infectious sense of wonky fun and a kaleidoscopic riot of sound and visuals to the stage. JOHN MAUS 'SCREEN MEMORIES' OUT 27TH OCTOBER 2017 (DOMINO ALL-IN)

DOMINO ALL-IN

John Maus announces his return with a fourth full-length album, Screen Memories, released by Ribbon Music on 27th October 2017. In celebration, John Maus has shared the music video for the album opening track 'The Combine'. Watch above.

This also marks the announcement of a six LP box set compiling all of John’s work, most of which is out of print, plus an additional brand new studio album entitled Addendum, the vinyl version of which is exclusive to the limited box set.

Screen Memories was written, recorded, and engineered by Maus over the last few years in his home in Minnesota. Whilst Maus is often described as retro-futurist on behalf of the 80’s drum machines and synth sounds employed, John’s music is more personal than the nostalgic re-tread implied. He’s more interested in seeking cadence, through his love of Renaissance polyphony and the experimentation behind post punk. It’s an amalgamation of musical ideas as radical as its intent.

John Maus will be touring throughout Europe in October and November of this year, to see all of our gig listings click here.

I find that songwriting is one of these acts of faith, and can be a catalyst for change in ourselves and our surroundings, despite our resolve being tested."

HEMBREE 'HAD IT ALL' OUT 3RD NOVEMBER 2017 (DOMINO ALL-IN)

DOMINO ALL-IN
Hembree 'Had It All'
GET: MP3 | WAV | LICENSE

Kansas City band Hembree - Isaac Flynn (lead vocals, guitar), Eric Davis (keyboards, synths) and Garrett Childers (vocals, guitar) – share brand new single ‘Had It All’, from the forthcoming EP of the same name.  ‘Had It All’ premiered via Beats 1, with Zane Lowe calling the track “absolutely fantastic”.

Their new EP, Had It All, arrives on the heels of Hembree’s second single ‘Holy Water’ and its slow, simmering success. That song, released in November 2016, made it onto the Billboard Alt Radio chart (virtually unheard of for a band without a machine behind them), garnered close to one million streams, and opened the door for Hembree to perform with artists as varied as Cold War Kids and Elvis Costello.

Their sound - smart, tightly constructed rock songs with stick-in-your-head hooks and soaring vocals - makes them great companions to the current crop of Alt-chart-dominating bands – like Alt-J, Lord Huron and Royal Blood – that Hembree are quickly taking their place next to. The 'Had It All' EP is set to be released on the 3rd November via Ribbon Music.

NEW SIGNING - PROTOMARTYR 'RELATIVES IN DESCENT' OUT 29TH SEPTEMBER 2017

DOMINO ALL-IN
Protomartyr 'Relatives in Descent'
GET: MP3 | WAV | LICENSE

Anxiety about the precarious nature of reality is a recurring thread on Protomartyr's 4th full-length and Domino debut, Relatives In Descent out September 29th. Though not a concept album, it presents twelve variations on a theme: the unknowable nature of truth, and the existential dread that often accompanies that unknowing. It's no coincidence this missive comes to us at a moment when disinformation and garbled newspeak have become a daily reality.  'Relatives In Descent' offers new layers and new insights, without sanding any of the edges born from their days as a Detroit bar band.

It all begins with ‘A Private Understanding,’ pegged as the album's opening statement the second it was finished, and a wellspring from which the following eleven songs flow. At once beautiful and brutal, it mutates from drum-led oddity to unlikely anthem, with some of Casey’s most potent lyrical work at its centre.

WATCHING LITTLE CUB 'BREATHING SPACE' MUSIC VIDEO (DOMINO ALL-IN)

DOMINO ALL-IN
Little Cub 'Breathing Space'
GET: MP3 | WAV | LICENSE

Following the acclaim of their debut album Still Life, south London trio Little Cub have shared the video for stand-out track, ‘Breathing Space’. Watch above.

“’Breathing Space’ is a song about the negative spaces in a relationship and people and things that come in to fill those gaps. Don Paterson once said it's easier to traverse the distance of space than to bridge the distance between one person's mind and yours and here the central question is one of fidelity. That if someone keeps you at arms length for long enough at what point does so much come between you that the ties simply come undone.”

On release of their new music video, Little Cub have announced their Autumn UK tour dates
