François Marry alongside his band The Atlas Mountains are Domino Record’s first signing to their French office in Paris. Originally from La Rochelle in south-west France, Fránçois moved to Bristol to work asa teaching assistant and whilst there, volunteered at Bristol arts venue The Cube. This afforded him the opportunity to meet with Camera Obscura and Movietone before becoming acquainted with King Creosote’s Fence Records, who put out the album 'Plaine Inondable' in 2009.

His new album E Volo Love (Domino) out 23rd January 2012 is flavoured with African influence, heavy doses of elegant French drama and a blush of electronica. E Volo Love was written whilst Fránçois Marry surfed, cycled and wandered through the countryside, and was recorded in a church in Saintes, his hometown near La Rochelle. The album was mixed by Tinariwen’s Jean-Paul Romann.
