Allison Crutchfield (P.S. Eliot, Swearin’) has announced her debut solo album. It’s called Tourist in This Town, and it’s out via Merge Records. She has also shared a music video for the album’s first offering, “Dean’s Room.” Directed by Lara Jean Gallagher, the video (watch below) shows scenes of Crutchfield dancing around a home alongside the dancer Marlee Grace. Austra, the recording project led by Canadian vocalist and producer Katie Stelmanis, is pleased to announce Future Politics, the third full length in their discography.

VETIVER

The Errant Charm is the new album from San Francisco’s Vetiver, and the band’s fifth full-length overall. Recorded by bandleader Andy Cabic and Thom Monahan. As he worked on material for the new record Cabic spent hours wandering the streets around San Francisco’s Richmond District, listening to rough mixes, tinkering with lyrics and arrangements.
