Allison Crutchfield (P.S. Eliot, Swearin’) has announced her debut solo album. It’s called Tourist in This Town, and it’s out via Merge Records. She has also shared a music video for the album’s first offering, “Dean’s Room.” Directed by Lara Jean Gallagher, the video (watch below) shows scenes of Crutchfield dancing around a home alongside the dancer Marlee Grace. Austra, the recording project led by Canadian vocalist and producer Katie Stelmanis, is pleased to announce Future Politics, the third full length in their discography.

Inspired by her time living in two cities – Montreal and Mexico City – and propelled by economic and philosophical texts she was reading throughout the album’s creation, Stelmanis was driven to face the world’s ailments with positivity, purpose, and engagement, rather than detachment or despair. THE GREENHORNES

Although their music is rooted in the classic sounds of rock and rolls past, Cincinnati, Ohio’s The Greenhornes have developed an iconic sound all their own. Forming in 1996, band members Craig Fox, Patrick Keeler, and Jack Lawrence have released numerous singles and three albums demonstrating a wide range of musical ability. Like their predecessors The Kinks, The Byrds, and The Yardbirds, The Greenhornes songs range from classic psychedelic sounds and soulful melodies to timeless rock anthems.
