ELIZABETH COOK

Setting out as a low profile indie artist, Elizabeth Cook made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry in 2000. Since then Cook has become an established country singer-songwriter with several repeat performances at the Grand Ole Opry. Elizabeth Cook is known for her clear, beautiful voice and strong songwriting ability, which have drawn comparisons to younger, critically respected artists like Kelly Willis and legends such as Dolly Parton. Cook released her fifth studio album ‘Welder’ in 2010. Andrew Mueller (BBC) compared Cook to “a latter-day Loretta Lynn”.
