Baltimore's Lower Dens released their beguiling debut album Twin-Hand Movement in July 2010, after chief-songwriter Jana Hunter had already released the stunning solo records 'There's No Home' (2007) and 'Blank Unstaring Heirs Of Doom' (2005). The critically acclaimed 'Nootropics' (Domino Records 2012) was a testament to Jana and the bands' growth into their distinct sound.
